With a background in psychology and counseling and a passion for educating and empowering budding families, I founded Polliwog Doula to fill a gap in maternity care as a birth and postpartum doula for the Tulsa area. Not everything about having a child is intuitive, and the presence of a doula sets your family up for success. Family-focused, evidence-based, and Christ-centered, Polliwog Doula was designed to meet all of your educational, practical, emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual needs through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I offer pregnancy classes, labor and birth support, postpartum recovery support. I also offer spiritual support through blessings, prayers, and a ceremony of rite of passage into parenthood upon baby's arrival home for families who wish to include these elements in their care plan.
